Springerville–Eagar is a paired community in Round Valley on the eastern edge of Arizona’s White Mountains. Springerville, established in 1879 around Henry Springer’s trading post, and neighboring Eagar share a high-country setting near the Apache–Sitgreaves National Forest.

• Casa Malpais: The Town of Springerville identifies Casa Malpais as a National Historic Landmark built and occupied by Mogollon people between about 1240 and 1350.
