Grayling Campground

Campground Information

Grayling Campground

Region: Big Lake

Best for: Quiet camping, smaller RVs, tents, anglers and visitors seeking more privacy

Grayling Campground offers some of the more secluded developed campsites within the Big Lake Recreation Area. The campground occupies a mixed conifer and aspen setting near the lake and contains approximately 23 sites arranged around a single loop.

Some campsites provide lake views, although they are not positioned directly on the shoreline. Grayling accommodates tents and appropriately sized recreational vehicles, but it does not provide utility hookups. Its smaller size and forested surroundings make it attractive to campers seeking a quieter alternative to the larger Apache Trout and Rainbow campgrounds.
