- The last returning shuttle to the school is at 9:30 p.m.

Springerville Rib Throwdown
 The longest - running BBQ competition in Arizona !

Pitmasters from near and far showcase their culinary expertise. Arrive early to secure your share of these prized delights.
35 to 40 BBQ Pitmasters gather Labor Day weekend to compete for Grand Champion of the Springerville Rib Throughdown.
Event sponsored by "Better World Barbeque Charities" was created to raise money to help smaller charities in the southern Apache County area.
The three-day event includes food sampling and drinks, an opportunity to learn from the pitmasters, a great way to celebrate the weekend!

Aug 28 - Thursday evening from 6:pm until sold out–Tri Tip, Shredded Chicken or Pulled Pork with choice of 2 sides for $15.

Aug 30 - Saturday at noon–Smoked BBQ Rib sampling for $2 ticket per sample


Taylor Sweet Corn Festival

Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Center Street and proceeds to the Rodeo Grounds. Arive early to get a placve along the road to watch, and bring a chair!
Parade, Arts and Crafts Show, food vendors, entertainment, and lots of fresh, local sweet corn are all part of this festival celebrating the harvest of Taylor farmers’ primary crop — Sweet Corn. A fun run and cornhole tournament will also be held. A hay ride and historic home tour will be held Monday, September 2.

Main Street Battle Of The Bands & Food Vans - Show Low
Two separate competitions at once — Music and Food!

This event hosts two separate competitions at once — Music and Food!
The bands will each play a set of their music while spectators set up areas in the grass with friends & family. Together we can enjoy listening to music, sipping cold beverages, and tasting all the contestant’s food.
The event has a $5 per person entry fee at the gate, 12 years old and under are free with paying adult.Â
A total of SEVEN Bands will be selected to compete at this year’s event.Â
The 7 bands will begin their sets on the hour starting at 12PM until 8PM!

The 42nd Annual Run to the Pines Car Show.
A beautiful collection of 500+ pre-1973 cars on display

See the "cavalcade of cars" starting @ 4:00 PM Friday in Show Low! Starting at the LDS Church in Show Low the cars will parade through the streets, through Show Low, Pinetop, and on to Hon Dah Casino.
Spectators: Free with a non-perishable food donation to assist Love Kitchen and White Mountain Charities.

The town honors the season with the official "town lighting"... fun for the whole family.
The main street in Snowflake is literally "Main Street" and the festivities start there at 6:00 PM
The traditions of Christmas in this small town celebration are worth the trip.
Snowflake kicks off the holiday season with a traditional Town Lighting Ceremony, arrival of Santa, entertainment and free cocoa to be enjoyed by all.

The Parade starts at Central and travels along the "Deuce" of Clubs Blvd then turns South onto White Mountains Rd. to complete the route.
The fun begins at 6 p.m. Saturday!
